Penllech - a short drive from Cae Garw self catering accommodation - is a totally unspoilt beach on the northern side of the Llyn Peninsula.
Situated between the villages of Llangwnadl and Tudweiliog, it is accessible from a small car park , and a walk of 500m along some fields , following a streamlet.
Rock pools here will keep the kids entertained for hours, Penllech is also a great beach for surfing - although beware of being cut off by high tides.
To the western side of the beach is the small fishing cove of Porth Colmon - which can also be accessed by a footpath along the top of the cliff - following the Llyn Coastal Path .
